League Of Legends Pricing
League of Legends is a team-based game with over 140 champions to make epic plays with. It's free to play.
The pricing of champions in League of Legends is determined by release date and difficulty level. Here's a brief overview of the pricing tiers:
- 450 BE / 260 RP: Champions that are great for new players and have been out for multiple seasons. Examples include Malphite, Miss Fortune, and Yuumi.
- 1350 BE / 585 RP: Slightly more complex champs that still have a moderate skill floor. Lots of fan favorites here, like Yasuo, Lucian, and Sett.
- 3150 BE / 790 RP: Champions with a steeper learning curve or highly specialized kits, like LeBlanc, Shaco, and Yorick.
- 4800 BE / 880 RP: The tier for the majority of champions.
- 6300 BE / 975 RP: Champions that have come out in the past two seasons, after which they move to the above tier in the next season.
- 7800 BE / 975 RP: The initial price for all champions, which drops to the above tier after one week.
All brand new champions cost 7800 BE/975 RP for the first week, after which they drop to 6300 BE/975 RP. Most champions follow this price cycle.
Payment Method
The League of Legends website offers several payment methods for purchasing Riot Points (RP). These include:
-
Credit Cards: Accepted credit cards vary based on the server. For the NA server, accepted credit cards include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The billing information entered, such as the billing address, should match the information provided to the credit card provider. There should be no blocks on the credit card account, including international or e-commerce blocks.
-
PayPal: This is a payment feature that allows users to purchase RP through online money transferring. The PayPal account will be required to be financially funded with a bank account, credit card, or debit account.
Before making a purchase, ensure that the card is properly funded. If using a prepaid gift card, make sure it's been registered and activated before attempting to use it. If a transaction fails, the financial provider will hold the funds for about 3-5 business days before releasing them. These funds never reach the payment system, and therefore, the control over when the funds will be returned lies with the financial provider.
If any unauthorized purchases have been made on the credit card account, change the password immediately and keep a close watch on the transaction history through the store. Contact the support team as soon as any suspicious activity is noticed.

League Of Legends Return Policy?
The League of Legends return policy is as follows:
Refunds are available for content that meets these three conditions:
- The content is unused
- The content was purchased no more than 14 days ago
- The content is on the list of refundable content
Refundable content includes Champions, Emotes, Individual Chromas, Skins, and Ward skins. Non-refundable content includes Boosts, Bundles, Chests, Earned content, Event passes, Gifts (sent or received), Hextech inventory (such as keys, chests, and shards), and Promotional items.
For some items like Rune pages, Summoner name changes, Summoner icons, and Chromas, refunds are not available through the client. However, by sending a ticket, a refund can be requested.
Each League account comes with three refund tokens. Refund tokens may be used to receive a refund on:
- Eligible unused content 14–90 days of purchase
- Eligible used content within 90 days of purchase
Refunds will be for the same amount and currency used to make the initial purchase. For example, if a champion is bought on sale for RP, the sale price will be refunded in RP even if it's not on sale anymore. A maximum of three refund tokens can be held at one time. One refund token is regained each year if less than three are held. Once a refund token is used, it's gone. There are no refund tokens for refund tokens.
Unfortunately, refunds are not provided based on champion updates.
